Why We Chose Massanutten
Massanutten caught our attention because it offers both indoor and outdoor water parks, making it a destination that can work regardless of the weather.
This trip wasn’t about riding every slide.
It was about discovering whether our family could comfortably spend an entire day here.
Highlights

What Worked Well
The shallow pools were one of our favorite areas.
Rather than rushing from attraction to attraction, we were able to spend quality time together at our own pace.
For children who may become overwhelmed by large slides or fast rides, these quieter areas can be just as enjoyable.
Things Parents Should Know
I’d include observations such as
✔ Gets crowded during afternoons
✔ Indoor section can become noisy
✔ Bring waterproof wheelchair covers if needed
✔ Plenty of seating, but shaded areas fill quickly
✔ Lockers available
✔ Easy access between indoor and outdoor parks
